Mary Buchanan

Funeral Services for Mary A. Buchanan, 86, of Stonewall, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.  Services will be officiated by her grandson, Jimmy Roberts. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.

Mary Buchanan passed away November, 18, 2022 at her home in Stonewall. She was born March, 23, 1936 to Arthur Alcorn and Mary Elizabeth Smith.

Mary was married to David Buchanan for many years.  Together they lived in Stonewall, OK and Parker, AZ.  Mary worked many years in the food industry.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was also an expert Easter Egg hunter. Her children and her grandchildren were her life.

Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her 7 sons, David Buchanan, of WA, Clayton Buchanan, of Wichita Falls, TX, Jimmy Buchanan, of Wichita Falls, TX, Jerry Roberts, of Stonewall, OK, Jim Roberts and wife Jackie, of Stuart, OK, Lawrence Buchanan, of Wichita Falls, TX and Mike Roberts and wife Terri of Moore, OK; 2 daughters, Mary Pool, of Stonewall, OK and Terri Brooks and husband Dwayne, of Walnut Grove, MO; 1 sister Rosie Lee Newton and husband Van, of Durant, OK; 29 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert David Buchanan; granddaughter, Tammy Buchanan; sisters, Archie Dean Grissom, Pauline Alcorn, Frankie Dean Alcorn and Jo Delia Foster; brothers, Tommy Alcorn, Billy Alcorn, and Lindell Alcorn.
