MARTIN LEONARD, JR.
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA-Services for Martin Samson Leonard, Jr., 78, Santa Monica, CA, formerly of Ada are 11:00 Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Leonard died Thursday, March 25, 2010 in Santa Monica, California. He was born August 31, 1931 at Ada, Oklahoma to Martin and Ethel Sturdevant Leonard. He graduated from Ada High School.
Mr. Leonard was a bookkeeper and had served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two brothers, Dr. David Leonard, Bethlehem, Georgia and John Leonard, Palm Springs, California; one son; two daughters; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mona McGuire and Dr. Jane Leonard.
