MARTHA WINTON
Services for Martha "Sasha" Winton, 72, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Central Church of Christ, Rev. Shawn Wiebers will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery.
Mrs. Winton died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born January 30, 1940 in the Egypt Community, west of Ada, to Willie Graham and Opal Jones Graham. She graduated Ada High School and attended beauty school.
She married John W. "Duke" Winton on November 27, 1963 at Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1993. Mrs. Winton was employeed at Brockway Glass and later was a bus driver for Ada School System and Call A Ride. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Johnna White and husband Brian of Seminole, Oklahoma; a son Jeffery Winton and wife Tammy of Ada; one sister Ernestine Kite and husband Roger of Sulphur, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Lyndsey East and husband Taylor, Alexander Winton, Madison Cartwright and Baylen White; one niece Rhonda Fields.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matt Winton.
