Marquetta McMillan

Marquetta Hatton McMillan, 85, of Broken Arrow entered eternal rest in the arms of the Lord on October 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on August 25, 1940, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Luke and Mary Hatton. She graduated from Ada High School. After high school, she enjoyed raising her children and going to their school events. After her children all graduated, she changed her career and became a unit secretary for several different hospitals for many years. When she retired, she enjoyed visiting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved being with her family. She also loved coffee, driving her car, her dog Shanna, sewing and coffee.

In 2006 she met the love of her life, Carl McMillan. They were married on June 16, 2007 in Ada, Oklahoma. They enjoyed traveling all over the USA on motorcycle and in their truck. They spent 12 wonderful years together traveling and visiting family before the passing of Carl in December of 2019. They were also proud dog parents of "Shanna" their yellow Lab who now resides in Texas with her granddaughter, Julie and her family. grandchildren and great grandchildren who have brought her great joy!

Marquetta McMillan's life was a life lived to the fullest with resilience, family, adventure and love. She leaves behind a family that will continue to celebrate her memory and love for family.
