Marlin Gore, Sr.
Ada-Services for Marlin William Gore, Sr., 80, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Lone Dove Cemetery near Sasakwa.
Mr. Gore died Monday, September 14, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born December 5, 1934 in Boiling Springs, OK to Celia Christeen Gore and Cleo Martindale.
He married Edith Alberson Gore in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on May 29, 2008. He was a heavy equipment/bulldozer operator and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include nine children, Larry Gore, Sr. and wife Yvette of Ada, Teresa Gore of Tipton, CA, Sharon Gore of Tulare, CA, Bryan Alberson of Ardmore, Darryl Gore and wife Edna Ripley of Stonewall, Scott Gore, Sr. and wife Cassandra of Ada, Karen Gore of Stockton, CA, Anthony Gore of Ada and Laverna Lacher of Purcell; forty-nine grandchildren; fifty-eight great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Marlin Gore, Jr. and Michael Gore; three daughters, Janet Gore, Sandra Gore and Brenda Hernandez and one brother, Walter Vernon Blevins, Sr.
Bearers will be Chris Gore, Anthony Gore, Darryl Gore, Dillon Gore, Doyle Ripley and Daniel Gore.
