Mark Ross

Services for Mark Lyn Ross, 61, of Ada, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Hood officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mark passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Tulsa. He was born on April 17, 1963, in Ada to Lyndle and Joan Harrison Ross.

Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He graduated with an associate's degree from Kilgore College and spent many years as an operator in plant operations for a gas plant. He married Cathy Melton on January 4, 2002, and together they built a loving home. Mark was an avid supporter of the University of Oklahoma, and he cherished his time spent hunting, enjoying firearms, and creating memories with his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of the home; his mother, Joan Kellogg of Ada; his daughter, Erica Goodson and husband Austin of Wagoner, OK; two brothers, Michael Ross of Ada and Darin Ross and wife Carolyn of Allen; his sister, Deidre Jackson of Ada; and his grandchildren, Bodie Wade Goodson, Frankie Omegia Goodson, and Charlie Jo Goodson. He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Derek Ross, Taylor Ross, Jordan Epperly, Jack Stephens, Al Satterfield, and Jimmie Brown.

Mark's family and friends will forever cherish his memory, and his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
