GAIL SAWYER
ADA-Graveside services for Marilyn Gail Sawyer, 72, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hodges Cemetery, Rev. Raymond Brady will officiate.
Ms. Sawyer died Friday, May 13, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born November 12, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma to Roy E. and Willie Lorene Hodges Sawyer. She lived in this area all her life and attended grade school in Ada.
Ms. Sawyer was of the Christian faith. She did needlework, painting and embroidery.
Survivors include one brother, Wendell Sawyer and his wife Luena of Pontotoc; four nieces, Rita Dunn of Tishomingo, Sonia Sealock and her husband Mike of Rockwall, TX, Lora Trimmer of Ada, and Paula Farrell and her husband Scott, Denver, CO; three nephews, Daryl Sawyer of Fittstown, Doug Sawyer and his wife Karen of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jeremy Sawyer of Colorado; many great nieces and great nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, J. B. Sawyer and Kenneth Sawyer.
Bearers will be Daryl Sawyer, July Sawyer, Jason Trimmer, Mitchell Trimmer and Mike Sealock.
