Services for Marilyn Sue Gipson, 64, of Ada are 1:00 P.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakawa. Rev. Randy Wade will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Ms. Gipson passed away September 1, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born February 2, 1958 in Los Angelas, California to Jesse Thomas and Lucinda Postoak.

Marilyn was a retired medical coder for the Chickasaw Nation

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Whartenby and husband Fred of Ada; a brother, Kenneth Thomas of Ada; a sister, Joann Thomas of Ada; and two grandchildren. Dolly Whartenby and Vadik Whartenby

She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Curtis and Melvin Thomas, and a sister, Debbie Cashman
