MARIANNA OKANEY
CENTRAHOMA-A private family memorial service is planned at a later date for Marianna Paola Okaney, 80, Centrahoma. Mrs. Okaney died on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at a Coalgate hospital. She was born August 24, 1928, in Transylvania, Europe, to Yuri and Mary Elana Okaney. She attended school in Europe. She later moved to the United States, and worked with handicapped children in Orlando, Florida.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Regina Cunningham and husband Nathan, Centrahoma; and Susan Boatright and husband Clifford, Coalgate; great grandchildren, Brandie Rawls and husband Chris, Byars; Amber Honeycutt and husband Robert, Lawton; and Georgina McKibben, Lawton; Jonhenry Boatright and wife Belle, Coalgate; Cole Boatright, Coalgate; several great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, step-mother, Hilda; two half-sisters, Georgana and Amanda; an aunt, White Dove, and a brother, Pauly Okaney.
