TUPELO-Services for Marguerite "Margie" Joan Rush, 92, Tupelo, are 2 p.m Tuesday at Tupelo Church of Christ, Wendell Ingram and Allen Brott will officiate. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, near Clarita.
Mrs. Rush died Saturday, October 10, 2009, at an Ada hospital. She was born May 2, 1917, to Mike and Elizabeth Novak in Illinois. She graduated from high school in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended college. She was employed processing produce in Salinas, California. She and Edgar Rush were married July 17, 1942. They moved back to Tupelo in May 1974 from Salinas. She was affiliated with the Tupelo Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar, Tupelo; one son, Edgar Michael "Mike" Rush and wife Lynda, Sheldon, Missouri; one granddaughter, Janie Williams and husband Johnny, Sheldon, Missouri; one great-granddaughter, Courtney Williams; and one great-grandson Michael Williams.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
