MARGURETE DIRCK
LITTLETON, COLORADO-Services for Margurete Alma Been Dirck, 89, Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Ada, Oklahoma are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Criswell Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday.
Mrs. Dirck died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Porter Hospice in Littleton, Colorado. She was born August 2, 1919 in Hackett, Arkansas to Luther and Vera Inez Claborn Been. She graduated from high school and attended business college.
She married Bill Dirck April 15, 1950 in Tulsa. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1995. Mrs. Dirck was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated Memorial Park Cemetery until they retired in 1985.
Mrs. Dirck was a member of Central Church of Christ in Ada for 37 years and for the past year, she was a member of Littleton, CO Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Dirck, Littleton, Colorado; three sisters, Madeline Durham, Crowley, TX, Mary Gillam, Ft. Smith, AR, and Wilma Graham, Little Rock, AR.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Madelyn Ann Dirck, and two brothers, Harold Been, Modesto, CA, and Jackie Been, Fort Smith, AR.
Bearers will be Kent Hamilton, Harral Harbin, Eddie Poblete, Toby Ross, Calvin White, and Riley Young. Honorary bearers will be Janet Alexander, Tish Armstrong, David Baze, Sandra Clinton, Bill Dew, Joanne Doak, Lois McMillin, Katie Boston Pugh, and Sally Walker.
