Margaret Ann Sandmann

Graveside services for Margaret Ann Sandmann, 91, of Sherman, TX, formerly of Ada, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Coalgate Cemetery, Coalgate, OK, Rev. Brian Matthews will officiate.

Mrs. Sandmann passed away May 22, 2020 in Sherman. She was born October 27, 1928 in Coalgate, OK to Charley and Blanche Flahaunt Lanoy. She graduated from Coalgate High School and East Central University.

She married Paul Walter Sandmann on December 6, 1947 in Coalgate, OK. He preceded her in death.  She attended the First United Methodist Church in Ada, OK.  She was a first grade school teacher at Homer Elementary for 21 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Paul Michael; and brothers Albert, Earnest, and Leon Lanoy.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Sandmann and wife Susan of McKinney; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Sandmann of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
