ADA-Services for Margaret Sue Johnson, 68, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2007, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.

Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born October 21, 1938 at Vanoss, Oklahoma to Ples and Lou Stidham Richardson. She lived in the Roff area most of her life and attended Vanoss schools.

She married Elwood Johnson on October 31, 1963 at Ada, Oklahoma. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of the Fitzhugh Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood Johnson, of the home; a daughter, Diane Hottell and husband Roger, Konawa; two grandsons, Shannon Hopper, Roff, and Kevin Hopper, Roff; five great grandsons, Joseph Hopper, Kaleb Hopper, Tyler Hopper, Thomas Hopper, and Tandan Hopper; and two sisters, Mary Lou Covert, Oklahoma City, and Bernice Turner, Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Marie Alford, Flora Shumard, Helen Richardson, Ruby Gurley, and Florence Webb, and four brothers, Percy Richardson, Joe Richardson, P. J. Richardson, and Clark Richardson.

Bearers will be Kevin Hopper, Roger Hottell, Shannon Hopper, Lee Dobbins, James Cornell, and Cecil Cornell.
