LOUISE GIBBONS

Services for Margaret Louise Gibbons, 93, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Ken Angel will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Gibbons went to be with her Lord Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, in Ada. She was born March 22, 1923, to Jessie Lewis and Ethel Webb Adcock at Bloomberg, Texas. She was a homemaker and affiliated with Abba's House. She was a member of Worship Center Church of God and a past matron and perpetual member of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Order of Amaranth Court # 3 in Norman, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, member of American Legion Auxiliary and Mature Fellowship group.

She met James Everett Gibbons on the morning of Sept. 2, 1939, and they were married later that day. James died four months early of their 50 ^th wedding anniversary.  Also, February 7 ^th is James' birthday. What a beautiful birthday present for him - the day Louise is buried.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Ann Hudson and husband Tommy O. of Ada; her son, Robert Earl Gibbons and wife Pamela S. of Edmond; her sister Carol Hampton of Midwest, Wyoming; five grandchildren, Russell O. Hudson and wife Gina of Ada, Tammy Barrett and husband Travis of Edmond, Chris H. Hudson and wife Dara of Bixby; Lance Gibbons and wife Andreia of Edmond and Jesse Gibbons and wife Luci of Edmond; nine great-grandchildren, Kaiden Hudson, Kennedy Hudson, Brody Barrett, Easton Hudson, Sara Gibbons, Dylan Gibbons, Julia Gibbons, Sofia Gibbons and Lincoln Gibbons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Bearers will be Russell Hudson, Chris Hudson, Easton Hudson, Lance Gibbons, Jesse Gibbons and Kaiden Hudson.
