Mamie Harjo

Graveside services for Mamie Harjo, 62, of Norman, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Corley Cemetery, south of Stratford. Alan Washington will officiate.

Ms. Harjo passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at a Norman hospital. She was born March 13, 1958 at Pauls Valley Oklahoma to William Joseph and Ruby Mae Smith Postoak.

Ms. Harjo was a Registered Nurse in Tulsa until her retirement. She was also involved with a prison ministry at Mabel Bassett Correctional Facility.

Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Harjo, Jr. and Terry Harjo, both of Norman and Randall Harjo of Oklahoma City; a brother, Eugene Postoak, Stratford; six sisters, Mary Wise, Ada, Barbara Givens and Alice Postoak, both of Oklahoma City, Laura Nickum, Stratford, Wanda Postoak and Helen Jackson, both of Ada; and nine grandchildren.
