Makaila Myers-Hampton

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Makaila Joelle Myers-Hampton, 15, of Paoli.

Makaila passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 near Pauls Valley. She was born September 4, 2009 at Ada to Cody Evan Myers and Jennifer Standridge Myers. She was a student at Paoli High School.

She loved all living creatures and found beauty in everything. She enjoyed time with her friends, as well as cheerleading. She also excelled in archery and was chosen to compete in a high school competition as an 8th grader at the time. She was also a Homecoming Queen Candidate for her 9th grade class. She was an absolute light in the world and was loved dearly. She will be missed always.

Survivors include her parents, William and Jennifer Hampton; two brothers, Ethan Hampton and Joshua Hampton, both of Sherman, TX; two sisters, Jacelyn Hampton and Jada Hampton both of Pauls Valley; her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Joann Myers, Ada; maternal grandparents, Jim and Vicky Standridge of Pauls Valley; uncle, Joe Standridge and wife Brandy of Valliant; and three cousins, Abby Standridge of Valliant, Jaren Standridge of Shawnee and Dustin Woods of Valliant.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cody Evan Myers; and her great-grandparents.
