SULPHUR-Services for Lyle Edward Hart, Jr., 82, of Sulphur are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Norman Talbot will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Hart died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his home. He was born July 11, 1931 at Dewajack, Michigan to Lyle Edward Hart, Sr. and Mabel Helena Williams Hart.

He married Velma Vernice Hendren on December 30, 1961. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2013. Mr. Hart was a professional mold maker for Brockway Glass Company, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle Hart and wife Sharon of Decatur, TX and Verlyn Hart and wife Sue of Sulphur; three daughters, Dianna McCullough and her husband Floyd of Greenville, OH, Beverly McPhearson and Marilyn McCracken, both of Sulphur; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and two daughters, Hattie Favorite and Judy Hart.

Bearers will be Verlyn Favorite, Brian McCullough, Scott McCullough, Dakota Hart, John Thomas and James Maldonaldo. Honorary bearer will be Mike Harbin.
