LYDIA JONES

TULSA-Services for Lydia Lee Jones, 85, Tulsa, are 10:00 a.m Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ray Talbott will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at a Tulsa hospice. She was born May 11, 1922 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Robert and Lydia Mae Morse West. She was the 7th child of 8, and was known throughout her life by her family as "Baby Sis".

She married Lee Roy Jones on May 10, 1942 at St. Louis, Missouri. He died August 23, 1977 in Tulsa after 35 years of marriage.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a longtime member of Cedar Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Javine Jones Bean and husband Joe; three grandsons, Phillip Devon Wolfe and wife Erin, Keith Lowell Wolfe and wife Shonna, and Brian Lee Wolfe and wife Marilyn; great grandchildren, Hayley Jordan Wolfe, Michael Devon Wolfe, Christopher Patrick Wolfe, Maxwell Norman Harris Wolfe, Emily Katherine Wolfe, and Hayden Parker Wolfe; a sister, Jewel West Wilson; and 22 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Thomas West, Robert West, and Elmer West; three sisters, Pearlie Mae West, Iva West Perry, and Clara Fay West Phillips; and five nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be her grandsons, Devon Wolfe, Keith Wolfe, Brian Wolfe, Michael Wolfe, Christopher Wolfe, and Max Wolfe.
