LULA KEELING

ADA-Services for Lula Beatrice Keeling, 95, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Earl Blankenship and Joe Swint will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Keeling died Friday, July 2, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born August 26, 1914 at the Oakman Community to Ocie Ola and Callie Fox East. She attended Egypt schools.

She married Albert Lee Keeling on January 9, 1932 at the Egypt Community. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1988. Mrs. Keeling was a homemaker and babysitter, a member of the Maxwell Holiness Church and the Union Hill Homemakers Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Jean Coplen and husband Charles, Ada and Thaddues Smith, Ada; one sister, Elva Kareer, Newalla; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Lonnie, George and T. W. East; three sisters, Lela Morrison, Johnnie Little, and Ara Belle Hobbs; and a son-in-law, George William Smith.

Bearers will be Debra Powell, Basil Coplen, Kevin Coplen, William Smith, Robbie Smith, and Danny Powell.
