LOU PERRY
ADA-Services for Luella Mae Perry, 68, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Central Church of Christ, Revs. Don Jacob and J. C. Simpson will officiate. Burial will follow at Dolberg Cemetery. A Wake Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Perry died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born April 16, 1941 at Fittstown, Oklahoma to Rueben and Rosie Neal Orphan. She attended Byng schools and graduated from Byng High School in 1959.
Ms. Perry was a caregiver for elderly persons and an active member of the Mitchell Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a Community Health Representative for the Chickasaw Nation for ten years. She enjoyed attending gospel singings.
Survivors include one daughter, Franchina McFerran and husband Jeff, Seminole; three sons, Franklin Coody, Jr., Ada, Farentino Coody and wife Ruby, Maud, and George Ca-te Jesse and wife Jennifer, Ada; two brothers, Ruebin Orphan, Ada, and Levi Orphan, Roff; eight grandchildren, Farentino McFerran, Feliza Griffin, Arissa Coody, Sean Jesse, Kelly Jesse, Drennan Jesse, Fraysson Coody, and Cobe Jesse; and a great grandson, Lazarus McFerran.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a grandson, Faryss Coody, two sisters and one brother.
Bearers will be Ray Orphan, Leonard Monroe, George Factor, Steven Nail, Bobby Johnson, Clifton Coody, Brent Griffin, and Jeff Orphan. Honorary bearers will be Farentino McFerran, Sean Jesse, Drennan Jesse, Fraysson Coody, and Lazarus McFerran.
