Loyd D. Miller

Services for Loyd Donly Miller, 92, of Owasso, formerly of Ada, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Miller died Monday, January 1, 2018 at an Owasso nursing home. He was born March 27, 1925 in Ahloso to Walter Edwin and Nellie Dee Henderson Miller. He attended Ahloso grade school and Stonewall High School.

He married Joyce Dean Coble on April 30, 1948 in Tupelo. He later married Leona May Miller on November 15, 1968 in Stonewall.  She preceded him in death on October 5, 2012.  Mr. Miller was a rancher, and also employed with Brockway Glass, Douglas Aircraft of Tulsa, and a Fuel Transport Truck Driver for Henson Oil Co., and Sanford Oil Co.  He was a member of the Stonewall First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Sue Murray and husband Dennis of Owasso; one son, Steven Loyd Miller and wife Kala of Seminole; one step-son, Larry Joe Miller of Wasilla, AK; six grandchildren, Greg Murray, Carrie Watts and husband Brian, Wesley Murray and wife Stephanie, Steven Paul Miller, Brett Chase Miller and wife Kendell, and Tyler Ross Miller and wife Jolee; two step-grandchildren, Tia Miller Benham and husband Kevin, and Misty Miller; eight great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Joyce Miller and Leona Miller; eight brothers and sisters, Essie Oliver, Clifford Miller, Cecil Blankenship, Ruby Dell McFarland, Edwin Miller, Milburn "Bib" Miller, Isabel McNinch, and J.W. "Dub" Miller; one great-grandson, Blake Austin Miller; and a step-son, Ronnie Miller.

Bearers will be grandsons.
