LOUIS MORGAN
ADA-Services for Louis L. Morgan, 89, Ada, are 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Jim Adams officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan died Friday, October 8, 2010 at an Oklahoma City nursing home. He was born April 2, 1921, in Alpine, Texas, to George and Mabel Davis Morgan. He graduated from Roff High School and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked in personnel and office management for Pan American Petroleum in Odessa, Texas from 1948-1961. After he moved to Ada he worked at Solo Cup Company from 1970-1973.
He married Gladys M. Jones on July 26, 1940. She preceded him in death on January 25, 2009 in Ada.
Survivors include a niece, Rita Team and husband Tom, Oklahoma City; 2 nephews, Terry Morgan, Bowie, Texas, and Phil White, Kerrville, Texas; a sister-in-law, Elva Cole of California; a brother-in-law, John Jones, Stillwater; and several nieces and nephews by marriage.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Gary Morgan; his parents; two brothers, Pete Morgan and Tillman Morgan; and 2 sisters, Jewell White and Opal Morgan.
