LOUIS CHOATE
ADA-Graveside services for Louis Lowell Choate, 70, Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Maxwell Cemetery, Christine Gillum will officiate.
Mr. Choate died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born November 29, 1937 in the Worstell Community, west of Ada, Oklahoma to Marion "Shorty" and Viola Gordon Choate. He lived most of his life in this area and attended Worstell schools.
He married Connie Brakebill on September 20, 1970. Mr. Choate was a truck driver until his retirement and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Choate, of the home; two sons, Tommy Choate, Ada, and Robert Choate, Ada; two brothers, Larry Choate, Oklahoma City, and Jimmy Choate, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Shirley Allen, Marynell Ronk, and Irma Jean Choate, and a grandson, Timmy Choate.
Bearers will be David Yerby, Mike Sanders, Blake Ronk, Mark Ronk, Scott Ronk, and Danny Allen.
