LOUANN TILLERY
FRANCIS-Services for LouAnn Tillery, 75, of Francis are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.
Mrs. Tillery died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her home. She was born March 17, 1939 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Clarence and Pearle Frachiseur Denney. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1957.
She married Densol Dean Allred in 1957 and they moved to Dallas, TX in 1959. She later married Garvice Tillery in 1983. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Tillery was a cashier for Safeway Grocery Store, retiring after 20 years of service. She was a longtime active member of Oak Cliff Assembly of God Church in Dallas for over 30 years. Mrs. Tillery volunteered with visitations to nursing homes and donated her time to cook, feed and minister to the Dallas local homeless population. She was a member of the Church women's quilting group and a door greeter at church for many years. Mrs. Tillery made welcome baskets for new members and was widely known as "The Candy Lady" for the many things she made and cooked and donated. She moved to this area in March, 2014 from Dallas.
Survivors include a daughter, Danita Enochs and husband Wayne of Francis; one grandson, Eden Orient of Dallas, TX; a great grandson, Dexter Orient of Dallas; and two nieces, Angela Morris and Donna Qualls; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garvice Tillery; a sister, Carolene Qualls; brother-in-law, Dub Qualls; and a nephew, Lyndall Qualls.
