Obituary

Services for Nanna Lou Click, 84, of Arlington, TX are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Jerry Phillips will officiate with a special family message by Joe Nemecek, her nephew.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Click died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Arlington, TX. She was born January 4, 1936 in Allen, OK to Fred and Lottie Mae Sluder Wofford.  She graduated from Lula High School in 1954.

Lou attended Lela Beauty College in Ada and subsequently, worked in a couple of salons in Ada. She married Gary Click on July 1, 1963 in Gainesville, Texas.  In 1967, Lou moved to the DFW Metroplex, where she resided the rest of her adult years. While Mrs. Click retired from retail sales just a few years ago, she ended her retail experience at SAS (San Antonio Shoes) where she managed a store in Arlington for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Arlington, and she became a lifetime member of Oklahoma Eastern Star.

Known for her expertise in making good, country "real" food, Lou relished having family and friends around her table to devour her home-cooked meals. She enjoyed playing card games with family, working word-search puzzles, watching old western television shows, and talking to friends and family. Her friendliness and warmth of spirit welcomed people in, and no one ever left her presence without feeling full of good food, but mostly filled to the brim with love. Lou cared for her family immensely through her acts of service and generosity, and she adored the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

Survivors include her husband, Gary, of the home; two daughters, Beverly Click of Arlington, TX and Carol Herman and husband Reagan of Pampa, TX; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Herman; three sisters, June Nemecek of Ada, Ruth Shaw of Ada and Shirley Jeffries of Wagoner, OK; and one brother, Carl Wofford of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Fred Ross, Earl, Ralph, Jess, and Clyde Wofford, and her sisters, Evah Mae Shaw and Ruby Standridge.

Bearers will be Lynn Lofton, Jose Aguilar, Chris Teel, Kent Schmidt, Kevin Shaw, and Jack Wofford.
