LOTTIE COPE
ADA-Services for Lottie Mae Cope, 88, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Cope died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born August 23, 1926 in Pontotoc County to Will and Tisha Lorene Laughlin Mullins. She attended Byng schools.
She married Charlie H. Cope on January 27, 1959 in Ada. He preceded her in death July 8, 1978. Mrs. Cope was a longtime waitress and housekeeper. She was of the Baptist faith and had volunteered at Valley View Regional Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Wallis and husband Jeff of Ada; a son, Raymond Tharp and wife Donna of Ada; two grandchildren, Chris Tharp and wife Majana of Ada, and Jeremy Tharp and wife Gina of Oklahoma City; two great grandchildren, Colton and Cody Tharp of Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and three sisters.
Bearers will be Chris Tharp, Jeremy Tharp, Colton Tharp, Cody Tharp, Willie Cowger and Mike Lawler.
