LORETTA RICE
Ada- Services for Loretta Rice, 91, of Ada, are 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Ms. Rice died Tuesday, Aug 5, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born March 1, 1923 in Latimer County, Oklahoma to Ellis and Alpha Burns Winlock. She graduated from high school and the St. Joseph School of Nursing. Ms. Rice moved to Ada in 1980 from Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Ms. Rice was a registered nurse in Ponca City, Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada and later at Jan Frances Care Center until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Sidney Rice of Ada; a son, Lee McCoy of Ada; two grandsons, Christopher and Jason Rice; and a sister, Millie Chapman of Tahlequah.
She was preceded in death by a son, Hampton Rice.
