LORETTA MARLER
ADA-Services for Loretta May Marler, 65, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Ms. Marler died Friday, December 28, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born August 16, 1942 at El Paso, Texas to John and Lorraine Colbert Marler. She received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts at Oklahoma State University. She moved to this area in the early 1990's from Tucson, Arizona. Ms. Marler was a Southern Baptist, a member of the Chickasaw Honor Guard, and served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include two daughters, Sunday Weiss and husband Kevin, San Diego, California, and Marcia Marie Kahwaty and husband Ely, Raleigh, North Carolina; two sons, Daniel Lee Cole, Ada, and girlfriend, Katie Lee, Ada, and K. C. Cole, Ada; five grandchildren; a sister, Sally Ann Marler, Pauls Valley; and many other friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother.
