LORETTA HUGHEY
ADA-Services for Loretta Mae Hughey, 75 of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at The River Church, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Hughey died Friday, November 18, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born March 13, 1936 in Allen, Oklahoma to Holder Chester and Inez Thomas Cross.
She married Curtis Lee Hughey on August 8, 1975 in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Hughey was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Hughey, of the home; nine children, Harold Wayne Brooks of Konawa, Donnetta Smith and her husband Corky of Okemah, Carolyn Scott and her husband Roy of Ada, Eddie Brooks of Meridian, Patricia Loggins and her husband Winford of Clearview, Janet Shadinger and her husband Dan of Roff, Robert Hughey and his wife Beth of North Carolina, and Lynn Hughey of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren, Chris Smith, Johnathan Smith, Felicia Smith, Ashley Scott, Kristin Brooks, Waylon Neal, Calvin Neal, Steven Neal, Toby Neal, Curtis Brooks, Jimmie Brooks, Cody Williams, Joshlynn Williams, Timothy Brooks, Timothy Brooks, Patti Starr, Glen Hughey, and Nikki Hughey; eighteen great grandchildren; four brothers, Mike Cross and his wife Judy, Hinton, Leo Cross and his wife Lisa, Thomas, Haskell Cross and his wife Terri, Thomas, and Wayne Cross, El Reno; a sister, Darlene Garvin and her husband Doug, Weatherford; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Chester Cross, Robert Cross, and Homer Cross; a sister, Luella Ingram and infant sister.
Bearers will be Winford Loggins, Ronnie Brown, Dan Shadinger, Corky Smith, Roy Scott, Lynn Cross and Randy Cross. Honorary bearers will be Don Kerr and Paul Ingram.
