LORENE NEAL
TACOMA, WASHINGTON-Services for Lorene Pearl Neal, 92, Tacoma, Washington, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Neal died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Tacoma, Washington. She was born May 10, 1915 at Maud, Oklahoma to John Bent and Laura Hall McCraw. She attended school at Maud.
She married Ernest Neal in 1933 at Sulphur, Oklahoma. He died in 1974 at Flagstaff, Arizona. Mrs. Neal was ordained a minister in the Pentecostal Church in 1947. She pastored churches at Eloy, Glendale and Avondale, Arizona, at Pacific Beach, California, and Lookeba, Oklahoma. Later, she was involved in evangelistic work. She moved to the Tacoma, Washington area in 2000 from Ada.
Survivors include one daughter, Ernestine Dunn and husband Jesse, Gig Harbor, Washington; one son, Ronald Lee Neal and wife Dena, Crystal Springs, Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Russell Neal, and Roger Neal.
Bearers will be Boyd Pittman, John Wood, Jerry Lee, Howard Welborn, Orlan Dees, and Martin Gustin.
