Lolita Sanders

Graveside services for Lolita Sanders, 90, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery; Sheila Jo Deaton will officiate.

Mrs. Sanders passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Ada. She was born January 24, 1936, in Ada, to Oather and Viola Richard Laxton.

Mrs. Sanders was a dedicated and hardworking individual who found great joy in gardening. She also excelled as an all-state basketball player at Latta High School.

Survivors include her two sons, Gentry Sanders and Jeffrey Sanders, both of Ada; and three sisters, Faye Mullins, of Ada, Virginia McCallister, of Ada, and Sue Alexander, of Glen Rose, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Estes Sanders; and two brothers, Vernon Laxton and John Laxton.

Bearers will be her nephews.
