Lola Ruth Tarver's Obituary
ADA-Graveside services for Lola Ruth "Babe" Tarver, 83, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2007, at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Ms. Tarver died Friday, August 17, 2007, at a local nursing home.
She was born March 13, 1924 in Flippin, Arkansas, to Ambrose and Versa Ingram Williams. She attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School.
She married John W. Tarver on September 4, 1942 in Ada. He died in 1973. Ms. Tarver was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Tarver in 1982, and a granddaughter, Sharon Brooks, in 1987.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Donna Tarver, of Konawa; two grandsons, Jon Tarver, of Sasakwa, and David Tarver, of Konawa; and four great-grand children.
