LOLA MITCHELL
ADA-Graveside services for Lola Faye Mitchell, 90, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at Swan Hill Cemetery. Floyd Kaiser will officiate.
Mrs. Mitchell died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was born January 4, 1921 in Asher, Oklahoma to Robert S. and Mary McCroskey Rice. She graduated from high school and attended college for one year.
She married Joe B. Mitchell on December 19, 1946 in Goldfield, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2002. She and her husband moved to Ada in the early 1970's from Augusta, Kansas. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker.
Survivors include her cousins, Mildred Holland of Wichita, KS, and Jack McCroskey of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Edward E. Rice and Edgar L. Rice.
