RITA PARK
ADA-Services for Lois Loretta "Rita" Park, 87, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Denny Truitt, Carl Hayes and Shawn Wiebers will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Park died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home. She was born December 18, 1926 in Ada, Oklahoma to W. E. and Flora Jones Ballard. She graduated from high school and attended East Central University for two years.
She married James Clarence Park June 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2005. Mrs. Park was a homemaker. She worked with her husband in Prison Fellowship spreading the Word of God in every prison in Oklahoma for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Park of Stonewall; a son, Jim Park and wife Anita of Ada; a sister, Yvonne Pruitt and husband Dexter of Ada; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Deon Ballard and Eddie Ballard, both of Ada; Virgie Weems of Sasakwa, and Willie Reed of Ada.
Bearers will be Jim Park, Wayne Park, Cody Smallwood, Cecil O'Neal, Jason Park and Jeffery Park. Honorary bearer will be Leland Perkins.
