LOIS BRASHEARS
ADA-Services for Lois Edna Brashears, 90, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church, Rev. Jimmy Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brashears died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born October 19, 1917 at Stonewall, Oklahoma to Eddie Lee and Rachel Ann Phillips Holland. She attended schools in the Stonewall area.
She married Louis Brashears on July 28, 1933 in Stonewall. He died in 1984. Mrs. Brashears was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Brashears, Ada, and David Brashears and wife Diana, Ada; one daughter, Pamela Brashears, Ada; a daughter-in-law, Anne Brashears, Pickett; two sisters, Helen Barrett, Fort Worth, Texas, and Margie Gilstrap, New Waverly, Texas; four brothers, Kenneth Holland, Fort Worth, Texas, Edwin Holland, Jesse, Ralph Holland, Jesse, and Melvin Holland, Jesse; seven grandchildren, Terri Buxton, Lisa Brown, Mark Brashears and wife LeaAnn, David Sanders, Debbie Cornman, Donna Sanders, and Stephen Dockerill; 18 great grandchildren, Jessie, Roze, Danielle, Joel, Christina, Tara, Justin, Kristina, Ryan, Aron, David, Jay, Christopher, Nickalas, Jenny, Kevin, Kayla, and Kelly; six great great grandchildren, Raden, Kainen, Elijah, Jaden, Mason, and Jada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters, Louise Barrett, and Beatrice, and brother, Leroy Holland.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Mark Brashears, Justin Brashears, Jessie Nolen, Ryan Brashears, Stephen Dockerill, and Tanner Edwards.
