STONEWALL-Services for Lois Jean Boyd, 70, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mrs. Boyd died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born December 9, 1942 in Ada, Oklahoma to Willie James and Erthel Steveson Flowers. She attended Latta grade school and graduated from Latta High School.
She married Gary Boyd. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Boyd was a nurse's aide in California and later at St. Anthony's hospital in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle Stevens, Wynnewood; two sons, James Stevens, Los Angeles, CA, and Jeffery Stevens, Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Billy Flowers and his wife Dorothy, Union Valley and Jimmy Flowers and wife Pat, Albany, MO; a sister, Rozetta Miller, Ada; a half-sister, Geneva Hoover, Texas; and a half-brother, T. J. Davis and his wife Betty, Oklahoma City.
Bearers will be Roy Allen, Jim Christian, Glen Herrin, Steve Vandegrift, Solomon Gantt, and Adam Horton.
