LOE BROWN
NOBLE-Services for Loe Luella Carroll Brown, 90, Noble, formerly of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Amos will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at a Noble nursing home. She was born August 25, 1919 at Ardmore, Oklahoma to Andrew Beldon and Laney Cecil Trimmer Carroll. She attended Plainview schools near Ardmore.
She married Calvin Howard "Buck" Brown on July 16, 1938 at Marietta, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1985 in Ada. Mrs. Brown owned and operated Brown's Day Care Center in Ada for over 30 years. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Ada.
Survivors include two daughters, Saundra Kaye Orebaugh and husband Frank, Ardmore and Sheila Marie Curry, Norman; two sons, Clelie Rodney Brown and wife Lynda, Ada, and Michael Oodie Brown and wife Janelle, Ada; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Jean Estes on November 28, 1994, her parents, and brothers Bernice, Aubrey, Cloyd and Beldon Carroll and a sister, Ivan Hall.
Bearers will be Tony Estes, Allan Orebaugh, Ron Brown, Austin Curry, Tyler Curry, and Brady Curry.
