LLOYD MYERS
ADA-Services for Lloyd Ray Myers, 80, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Myers died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at a Norman Veterans Center. He was born September 23, 1933 in the Egypt community, west of Ada, OK to Charles Heber and Annie Ethel Lawson Myers. He attended Egypt and Latta schools.
Mr. Myers was a truck driver for Evergreen Mills Feed in Ada until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include three brothers, Vernon Myers and his wife Shirley of Ada, Stanley Myers and his wife JoAnn of Ada, and Gene Myers and his wife Pat of Yukon; one sister, Velma Lee Wood of Albuquerque, NM; and an aunt; Wanda Martin, Ada.
