LLOYD BURK, JR.

ADA-Services for Lloyd Burk, Jr., 43, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. James Feltner, Glen Eaves and Mr. Cary Gerth will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mr. Burk died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born September 11, 1965 at Ada, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Bonnie Tomlinson Burk. He attended school at Vanoss and graduated from Ada High School.

He married Shelly Faria in 1997. Mr. Burk was a rodeo judge and was employed at the Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction for nineteen years.

Survivors include his wife, Shelly Burk, of the home; two daughters, Stefani Burk and Sydney Burk; three sons, Blane Burk, Colton Rankin and Connor Burk; his father and step-mother, Lloyd and Joann Burk; his grandmother, Pearl Thomason; mother-in-law, Rhonda Ashley; father-in-law, Lloyd Faria; grandparents-in-law, Tommy and Joan Key; three brothers, Rocky Howard, Darrin Tucker, and William Ray Griffith; four sisters, Becky Wainscott, Tammy Ward and husband Joe, Kaci Townley and husband Thomas, and Jeanetta Matthews and husband Charles; three brothers-in-law, Darrell Carlos and wife Roxanne, Darrick Carlos, and Dink Carlos and wife Amber; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Burk Griffith; and grandparents, Trudet Tomlinson and Floyd Burk, Sr. and Oleta Burk.

Bearers will be Wes Brown, Jody Newberry, David Lance, Rooster Gilstrap, Rusty Moreland and Dr. Calvin White. Honorary bearers will be David Woods and Donnie Faulkner.
