Services for Linda Jeanne Whitlock, 78, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Whitlock died Thursday, July 25, 2024 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born February 16, 1946 in Houston, TX to Lester and Dorothy Y. Mackintubbee Yarberry.

She married Clayton Bruce Whitlock in August 1983. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2023. Mrs. Whitlock was employed with Brockway Glass and later a manager at the Trading Post.

Survivors include her son, Clayton Bruce Whitlock, Jr. and wife Lisa; four daughters, Brenda Routt and husband Brian, Pam Jeffrey and husband Sean, Sheila Childress and husband Jay and Marvelle Whitlock; one brother, Terry Rose; one sister, Tammy Lucas; 10 grandchildren, Reigny Jeffrey, Jason Childress, Jennifer Williams, Antonio Flores, Samuel Flores, Gennie Merriman, Wayne Flores, Drey Phillips, Daycee Phillips and Dawson Phillips; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clayton Whitlock; three brothers, Donald Kirkley, Orville Kirkley and Charlie Kirkley; and a grandson, Josh Murray.

Bearers will be Brian Routt, Sean Jeffrey, Jason Childress, Samuel Flores, Drey Phillips and Dawson Phillips. Honorary bearers are Jax Childress, Jack Childress and Tony Flores.
