IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda
Vogt
November 2, 1954 – September 25, 2025
Linda Vogt
Services for Linda Ann Vogt, 70, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at First Free Will Baptist Church; Rev. Jarrod Presley and Rev. Dean Stone will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Linda Ann Vogt, lovingly known as Mom and Grandma, passed away September 25, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 2, 1954, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Melvin and Joy Ann West Balthrop. Both of her parents preceded her in death. She grew up in Francis playing with her cousins and siblings on her Grandparents' farm. She was proud of her Choctaw heritage.
Linda married Kenny Vogt, Jr. on November 3, 1972 at Cedar Grove Free Will Baptist Church, and together they built a life and a family. She was the devoted mother of Kenda Ann (Joe Daniel), Kellye Suzette (Sid Griffin), and Kenny III (Gela Vogt), and the proud grandmother of Andrew (Savannah Daniel), Amanda (Cody Williams), Makella (Brayden Ingle), Elijah, Macy (Wyatt Somers), Ezekiel, Michelle, Ezra, and Eden. Her love extended to great-grandchildren Jayla, Ian, Nolan, and soon-to-come Baby Evan.
Petite in stature but big in love, Linda was known for being warm and nurturing. She had an appreciation for beauty and comfort, always keeping her home clean, her hair and nails done, and her surroundings fragrant and inviting. She especially loved shopping for shoes and treasures at Bath & Body Works, filling her home with the scent of Japanese Cherry Blossom. Her home reflected her love of pretty things, with decor in florals, decorative pillows, and a display of her beloved porcelain dolls.
On Sundays Linda would dress in her prettiest dresses, hair curled, makeup done, and perfume on, attend church with her family, and then return home to cook a pot roast with brown rolls and tea. Holidays and meals were always celebrations she enjoyed, bringing family together.
Linda leaves behind siblings Terry Balthrop (Debra) and Rita Black (Marlin), who was not only a sister but her best friend. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry.
She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Her family was her world. She found happiness in the little things: baking, tending to flowers, sitting outside with Kenny, and making her house a home.
Linda loves Jesus, and raised her family to do the same. She was faithful in her walk with the Lord, and is with Him today. She will be remembered for her caring heart and the ways she made her family's lives more beautiful.
