Linda Starkey

Graveside services for Linda Raye Starkey, 82, of Bethany are 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Rosedale Cemetery; Rev. Duane Snavley will officiate.  There will be a memorial service at OKC First Church of the Nazarene on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Ms. Starkey passed away Tuesday November 5, 2024 at her home.  She was born September 19, 1942, in Ada to Frank and Geraldine McNair Carriger.  She graduated from Ada High School and went on to further her education receiving a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from East Central University and a master's degree in Special Education from Central State. She was a Democratic Party Activist.

Survivors include her daughter, Shawna York and husband, Yancy and grandson, Henry York.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlotte Kay Carriger.
