LINDA PEAY
ADA-Services for Linda Lee Peay, 64, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Joe Howry and Ray Talbott will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Ms. Peay died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born July 22, 1943 at Ada, Oklahoma to George W. and Verna Hughes Gash. She graduated from Ada High School in 1961 and attended East Central University.
Ms. Peay was a medical secretary for Dr. William C. Noblet for several years, and formerly she was a legal secretary for attorneys Bob Bennett and Barney Ward. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, David Peay, Allen; her mother, Verna Gash, Ada; one brother, Eugene Gash, Falls Church, Virginia; one sister, Georgianne Johnson and husband Bill, Ft. Worth, Texas; a niece, Raye Ann Hall, Ft. Worth, Texas; and a nephew, Rusty Simpson, Ft. Worth, Texas.
Bearers will be Bill Johnson, Dale Peay, Tom Peay Sr., Tommy Peay, Doug Peay, and James Paschall. Honorary bearers will be Mike Beller, Tommy Cooper, Billy Hagar, Bob Stick, Rick Coleman and Mike Walker.
