Linda Loyd
Graveside services for Linda Jean Loyd, 71, of League City, TX, formerly of Tupelo and Ada are 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Byrd's Prairie Cemetery near Tupelo. Mr. Wendell Ingram will officiate.
Mrs. Loyd passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was born August 25, 1944 in Ada to Leroy and Novella Harrison Sims. She graduated from Ada High School.
She married Cyril Gene Loyd August 30, 1965 in Salida, CO. He preceded her in death June 27, 1994 in Ada. Mrs. Loyd was a receptionist at Valley View Regional Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Timothy Lee Loyd and his wife Ivy of League City, TX; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Samantha, both of League City, TX; a brother, Larry Sims, Ada; and sister, Jenny Low.
