Linda Lou Harlin

Graveside Services for Linda Lou Harlin, 81, of Stonewall, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Jesse Cemetery, Father Foshee, St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate.

Mrs. Harlin died Thursday, December3, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.  Linda was born May 16, 1939 to Samuel O. Tolley and Nina L. Russell Tolley, in Kokomo, Indiana was baptized at St. Patrick's Catholic Church that same year, where she also attended school and was a member for many years as well. She graduated from Western High School in Russiaville, Indiana in 1957. She married Fred J Scott, of Tupelo, Oklahoma in 1956 and after her graduation moved to Ada, Oklahoma and for many years attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. From the marriage came 2 daughters, Sherri Lynn Scott and Connie Jo Scott. Linda and Fred were married for 41 years, until his passing in 1997.

Linda married Rodney W. Harlin on February 14, 1998 and since that time had lived in Stonewall, Oklahoma, until her passing. She was employed for many years by Lisa Boggs, also a very close friend, as Secretary/Bookkeeper, a job that she loved, and had only recently retired from.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney W. Harlin, of the home, one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Robert Price of Kokomo, Indiana and one brother, Samuel Tolley, of Tucumcari, NM, her 2 daughters, Sherri Amstutz, of Oklahoma City and Connie Scott of Norman, Oklahoma. Her joy, her grandchildren, Andy John Bills and family of Washington, OK, her only granddaughter, Krystal Lynn Bills and family of Oklahoma City, Brian Scott and family of Duncan, OK, Cory Simpson and family of Norman, OK, and B.J. Simpson, also of Norman and 2 great-grandchildren, her beloved great-granddaughter, Madilyn Paige Scott Crouch and husband, Stuart Crouch, of Blanchard, OK and Mr. Cale Simpson of Norman, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, husband, Fred J. Scott, and one brother, Rodney Tolley.

Viewing and visitation will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 At Criswell Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Linda and Rodney's good friends, Jeff Krebbs, Chris Lott, and Phillip Henry, as well as her grandsons, Andy Bills, Brandon "Bub" Hooper and her nephew, T.V. Harlin.
