Linda Sue Cabo

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service for Linda Sue Cabo, 77, will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Criswell Funeral Home in Ada, Oklahoma.

Linda Cabo was born September 20, 1947 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late Edgar and Mildred Davis, and went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, 2025 in Ada, Oklahoma surrounded by her loved ones.

Linda was a proud Broken Bow Savage, a 1965 graduate from Broken Bow High School. She attended most, if not all, of her class reunions. She received her Licensed Vocational Nursing certification at the Kiamichi Vocational Technical College and was a practicing nurse in both Texas and Oklahoma until her retirement.

Mrs. Cabo moved from Broken Bow, OK to Jasper, TX in 1984. She moved to Ada, OK in 2000 where she resided for 19 years before choosing the 'RV life' with her husband Rene to travel the country. Linda loved to travel and see the beautiful country. One of her favorite things to do was to sit outside at night during a full moon. When the night sky was clear and the moon was full, she would be mesmerized by its magnificent beauty. She absolutely loved going to beaches. Often, she and Rene would travel to the Caribbean, having visited nearly every island possible. Her passion was to be with Rene and sip on a margarita with their feet in the sand. Linda also loved to dance like no other, she could 'jitterbug' from coast to coast. Along the way, she never met a stranger. She loved to make people laugh and built lifelong friendships throughout her travels.

Linda absolutely loved her family. Her passing was three days short of a 19-year marriage to Rene Cabo, who blessed her with a 'bonus family' she loved dearly. She loved her sons, bonus children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Linda enjoyed attending her family's life events and celebrated in their accomplishments and successes, but most importantly, she was always there in the times of need.

Though her passing was unexpected, we are comforted and reassured that she is celebrating and dancing on streets of gold. Linda was a believer and knew that when this life on Earth was over, there would be something much greater to come. As she could hear the angels calling to the loving arms of Jesus, she passed from this world with her family at her side. Linda Cabo, (AKA mom, mama, Sis, Nana, Aunt Lin Lin and Honey Bunny), will be missed greatly.

Survivors include her husband Rene Cabo; Sons, Tom and wife Michelle Webb, Eddie and wife Melissa Webb, both of Jasper, TX; Donny and wife Kristi Webb of Nacogdoches, TX; bonus son, Michael and wife Amanda Cabo of Ada; and bonus daughter, Dustie and husband Phillip Devers of Ada; sister, Debbie and husband Tom Short of Ada; and grandchildren, Samantha Watson, Caleb Webb, Logan Webb, Brooke Caycoya, Colt Webb, Chase Webb, Wyatt Webb, Dawson Webb, Kaytlin Alm, Samantha Cabo, and Joshua Alm; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mildred Davis; sister, Darla Tushka; niece, Kandi Davis; and bonus son, Daniel Cabo.
