STONEWALL-Services for Linda Kaye Bolen, 61, Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Vaden Morgan and Gary Horton will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Bolen died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born May 26, 1946 at Sanger, California to Frank Dan and Bessie Lula Wood Bolen. She attended Pleasant Hill and Stonewall schools and graduated from Stonewall High School. She attended Tonkawa Jr. College, and Lela's Beauty College in 1970. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Central University in 1981. Ms. Bolen was employed with Ken Lance Sports Arena for 25 years, and later was employed with the Chickasaw Nation as a Counselor. She was the Ada Rodeo Princess in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Vincent E. Bolen, Tulsa, and Victor E. Bolen, Stonewall; one grandson, Blayke M. Bolen, Stonewall; a brother, George E. Bolen and wife Jonnie, Stonewall; a sister, Barbara Rutherford, Stonewall; a nephew, Dameon Rutherford, Stonewall; a niece, Tiffiney Rutherford, Ada; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bearers will be Billy Joe James, Donnie James, Ronnie James, Winford Wood, Jess Morrison, and Philip Henry. Honorary bearers will be Eddie Wood, Jerry Deveny, Roger Wood, Tom Crabtree, Leonard Daniel and Tom Daniel.
