LILLIAN BECK
HOUSTON, TEXAS-Graveside services for Lillian Hunter White Beck, 96, Houston, Texas, formerly of Ada are 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Rosedale Cemetery, Father John D. Norvell will officiate.
Mrs. Beck died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at her home. She was born September 17, 1914 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to U. L. and Lillian Hunter Johnson White.
She married Herbert H. Beck in 1953. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1994 in Houston. Mrs. Beck was a secretary for Braswell Sand and Gravel in Shreveport, LA, and later was the secretary for Finger's Furniture in Houston for over 30 years. Mrs. Beck was member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Houston and in 1966 served as the Texas State President for the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She also made fruitcakes for St. Jude's.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Nancy Morrison and her husband Joe, Pine, CO; and a granddaughter, Lisa Campbell and her husband Mark, Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
