Dean McManus
Services for Lila Dean McManus, 78, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Central Church of Christ, Roy Deering will officiate. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery near Stratford. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. McManus passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1938 near Madill to Luchess and Mary Odelia Brown Sealey. She attended schools at Kingston and Madill.
She married Harrel D. McManus February 19, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. McManus was the Director of Human Resources for the Chickasaw Nation and currently she served as a Legislator for the Chickasaw Nation. She was a longtime member of the Galey Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen Goodnight and her husband Stan, Norman, Sherri McManus, Ada and Kristina McManus, Eldorado, KS; a brother, Leonard Sealey, Lawton; a sister, Virginia Iantria, South Bend, IN; 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth Boyett, Amanda Eddings and her husband Jason, Nicole Willis and her husband Michael, Ashton Ward, Kyle Goodnight, Madie Goodnight, Katie Goodnight, Tyler Frazier and his wife Amber, Brittany Frazier, Joshua Thompson and John Christian Roller; seven great-grandchildren, Mikie, Lila, Cassius, Natalee, Maverick, Slade and Greysen.
Bearers will be Tyler Frazier, Kyle Goodnight, Joshua Thompson, Christian Roller, Michael Greenlee and Gerald Sealey. Honorary bearers will be Governor Bill Anoatubby, Stan Goodnight, Bill Lance, Tom Bolitho, Jay Keel, Toby Perkins, Phillip Perkins, and David Hatton.
