ADA- Graveside services for Lila Leighton , 92 , of Ada are 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Swan Hill Cemetery, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.
Mrs. Leighton died Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Bethany, OK. She was born February 28, 1923 in Lawton, Ok to G.W. and Thelma Bates Davis. She graduated from Walters high School.
She married Malcom Dean "Lefty" Leighton December 22, 1942, at Lawton, OK. He preceded her in death October 13, 2006. She and her husband moved to Ada in 1950, where she worked for Gibson's and later retired from Wal-Mart . She was a former member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and later was associated with the Allen United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Vestal and her husband Richard of Oklahoma City; Five grandchildren, Roy Dean Leighton, Rachelle Leighton, Stacia Lamb, Carey Vestal and Micah Vestal; Eight Great Grandchildren and Three Great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, Larry and Romaine Leighton and granddaughter Shelley Harber.
